In this catalog for their installation “FREEDOM”, Group Material investigates the conflation and confusion of the terms “democracy ” and “capitalism” in an increasingly (totally?) market driven world. The booklet comes in a plastic bag along with three other objects (a bumper sticker, a letter opener, and a chip-bag clip) all emblazoned with the exhibition’s “logo”: a wallet with the word FREEDOM printed on it.)
