Both artist book and guide to the works presented at the Okayama Art Summit 2019, convened by Pierre Huyghe as artistic director, If the Snake gathers works or documentation of works by artists such as Matthew Barney, Tino Sehgal, Tarek Atoui, Pamela Rosenkranz, or Lili Reynaud Dewar. The book aims at allowing the reader to experience the exhibition is an entity, a beingmilieu affecting the city through invisible presences, different intelligent forms, chemical, biological, and algorithmic processes...
