Tinted Window #1 Hervé Guibert
The literary and photographic work of French writer Hervé Guibert (1955-1991) is at the heart of this first issue of Tinted Window. The magazine comprises a selection of his photographs, a translation of the short story “Papier Magique” by Jeffrey Zuckerman (with illustration by Louis Fratino), as well as excerpts from Brigitte Ollier’s Hervé, a book of interviews with friends and collaborators of Guibert. Other contributors include Andrew Durbin, Bruce Hainley, and John Douglas Millar.
Tinted Window is a compendious journal that focuses on one person, place or object. Each issue shares a commitment to exploding its subject; to seeing it from different angles. [publisher’s note]
