saké blue // booklaunch, readings, pick-a-poem & more
5 June 2024 07:00PM

Wild combination. Dears, we are so thrilled to welcome our all times fav writer Estelle Hoy, in conversation with poet Lisa Robertson for the launch of saké blue, an anthology of Hoy's recent writing published by yours truly.

saké blue gathers critical essays, art reviews, and poetic fiction. Written in dialogue with the work of Martine Syms, Marlene Dumas, Hervé Guibert, or Camille Henrot, these texts combine the subjective and analytic, addressing power relations and the force of affect.

“Estelle Hoy practises philosophy as an unsettled but deeply committed query into existing together. She reads, she looks, she writes, to find out something essential about the future and living for it.”
—Lisa Robertson, author of The Baudelaire Fractal

There will be readings, conversations and a special "pick-a-poem" box by Vanille Bouyagui - all funds to be donated to UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine.
