“This printed matter project was born out of an impossibility of producing a fanzine in Mexico City. The printing was postponed until it didn’t really make sense to print the fanzine at all. Finally Kristoffer and I got talking and because of this disappointment, I suggested to him that I could possibly organise a fanzine project rather than printing just this one fanzine. I would ask around to see if people were keen to do something and if they had any material that would lend itself to print. This time all fanzines would be printed in Paris.”

Karlsen and Victor Boullet for Borgenheim Rosenhoff, the John is Sick Fanzine Project gathers 9 zines (all 20-page long, A5 format) by Alan Michael, Katie Shannon, Morag Keil & Bedros Yeretzian, Victor Boullet, Michaela Eichwald, Nicolas Ceccaldi, Cezinando, Matthew Pang, and Smerz.
