This Friday, we are delighted to celebrate the translation into English of the third and final volume of Peter Weiss' chef d'œuvre: The Aesthetics of Resistance (Duke University Press) by Joel Scott. With Lotta Thießen, they also will read some extracts of their last poetry chapbooks.

Joel Scott is a translator, editor, and the author of several poetry chapbooks, the most recent being Bildverbot and Diary Farm.

Lotta Thießen  is a translator, and also the author of several poetry chapbooks, the most recent being Fragments of Baby (2019, Materialen) and Coineaters in Progress (2024, Cutt Press). Her recent translations into German include This Energy wasted by Flight by Lotte LS (Pamenar Press) and Don Mee Choi’s Hardly War forthcoming in 2025 with Spector Books.
