Honey Mine: An evening with Camille Roy

Writing a story is a little like dragging a tree out of a dark wood and then wrapping it with strings of starry lights.

Be welcome to an evening of readings by author Camille Roy. She will share with us parts of her book Honey Mine, as well as the upcoming memoir Death on Paper. Starring aussi Barbara Sirieix avec Expérimentalisme & Lynette #1, des traductions en français de Honey Mine, publiés par How to become !

Camille Roy is a writer of fiction, poetry, and plays. Published by Nightboat, Futurepoem, and other houses, her writing is featured in Pathetic Literature (edited by Eileen Myles, Grove Press, 2022) and Writers Who Love Too Much: New Narrative 1977-1997 (by Dodie Bellamy & Kevin Killian, Nightboat, 2017). She co-edited Biting The Error: Writers Explore Narrative (Coach House 2005, re-issued 2010), a book of essays by writers on their own experimental practices. A crucial figure in the New Narrative literary movement, Camille Roy continues to be an inspiration to many lesbian and queer experimental writers.
