This new book by André Tavares uncovers the whitewashed surfaces of Brazilian curves and considers how architects and engineers created narratives to support their projects. It moves through the built and theoretical works of architects, engineers, poets and restless travellers, and features a special appearance by the Brazilian folklore character Saci Pererê.
