From the start of July, Pieter De Clercq inhabited KIOSK as its very first artist in residence. While KIOSK remained closed to the public during the summer, De Clercq moved existing sculptures from his regular studio and tirelessly added new works over the course of two months. The presentation Elke dag is een tentoonstelling (“Every Day is an Exhibition”) sheds new light on an artistic practice in which transformation and playfulness occupy a central role. [publishers’ note]
