This handsome book gathers 92 works on paper by David Robilliard – mostly ink or pencil, sometimes watercolour, on paper or card — cartoons and portraits of friends, celebrities, animals, with short text characteristic of the singular genius of the artist.

David Robilliard Drawings 1976-1987 was made possible by James Birch, one of Robilliard’s original gallerists, and Chris Hall, custodian of the estate of Andrew Heard. The book is dedicated by Chris Hall to Catherine and John Hollens.
