A transdisciplinary and experimental collection of critical and artistic engagements with listening as both a practice and a way of being.

Featuring contributions from an extensive roster of international thinkers, artists, and practitioners, Anthology for Listening Vol. II examines listening as more than an act of hearing. It positions listening as an expansive process that navigates silence, sound, memory, and embodiment to cultivate care, foster connections, and challenge existing paradigms. Contributions range from poetic and theoretical reflections to sonic practices and methodologies, to reportages, performance documentation, scores and notes, fostering a dialogue that traverses disciplines and boundaries.

As an artists’ book, Anthology for Listening Vol. II invites readers to approach it as a standalone work of art, while also serving as a platform for collaboration and exploration. The anthology resists conventional definitions, instead operating as a dynamic and evolving container for diverse approaches to listening.
