Alternative Layout System explores innovative approaches to paragraph formatting, drawing inspiration from historical manuscript techniques to challenge conventional layouts. The research resulted in a plugin for InDesign, available for free download at alternativelayoutsystem.com. The publication presents designers’ experimental work with these scripts.
