XIN, Shen

The author’s ways in relating to four kins are inscribed into the depth of four geological faults in 1, 2, 3, 4. The piece is translated into multiple languages used by ancestors of the kins written about, and communities who hold relationships with the faults through time and space. The book marks, alongside with video installation work ས་གཞི་སྔོན་པོ་འགྱུར། (The Earth Turned Green), a position to return multiple forms such as language and perceptions back into the conversion of inter-beingness.

This publication was made in conjunction with the exhibition "SHEN XIN (The Earth Turned Green)" held 31.3. – 17.6.2023 at KUNSTVEREIN GARTENHAUS, Vienna.
