Yu&Me (Sento Book)

In Japan, Sento (public baths) are an important part of both tradition and present everyday life. I believe these are the best places to learn about local culture and one of the few places where it is easy to interact with local people. Although, those places can be quite mysterious and difficult to use properly as a foreigner. This project were for me a way to understand better and improve my experience in Japan.

Yu & Me is a 112-pages book focused on Kyoto's public bathes, filled with (un)useful notes and observations, their historical background, alongside with interviews of Kyoto sento experts, a guide of sel drawings, photographies, and more…
