VOITURE SAUVAGE

“A stream of consciousness that does not ask for direction, but claims its right to passage nonetheless.”

VOITURE SAUVAGE is an overview of Boris Deben’s drawings that serves as a moment in time or an archive, guarding what has been made from 2020-2024. The drawings shown in this publication are automatic drawings that Boris uses as a basis to create immersive imaginaries, presenting a multifaceted queer perspective of self-reflection and human-object relations. Drawn by the colours and shapes, they got together to create this book. [publishers’ note]

Boris Deben is a multidisciplinary artist working across kinetic sculpture, drawing, installation and animation. Graduated from the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam (NL) in 2025.
