The Naif

I can tell myself, you are growing, I can tell myself, you can disregard, I can tell myself, what does that matter, I can tell myself, be reasonable, I can tell myself, it’s arbitrary, they want you to feel this way, but I still feel this way.

The Naif is a cross-genre text (part novel, part philosophy, all poetry) by artist Valerie Hsiung.
