E.1027 Maison en Bord de Mer Roquebrune-Cap-Martin: April, 2009 / October, 2010

A two-volume artists’ book, gathering photographs taken by Kasper Akhøj at two stages of the restoration of Eileen Gray and Jean Badovici’s E.1027 Maison en bord de mer. The photographs are of course based on the famous 1929 special issue of L’Architecture Vivante, that focused on the house. 

The publication was made in conjunction with Akhøj’s exhibition, After the Fair, at WIELS, Brussels, in 2010–11.
