LOWMAN, Nate; ZUCKERMAN, Heidi (cur.)
Nate Lowman: Before and After
A monograph that beautifully embraces Nate Lowman’s aethetics and concern with pictures, their circulations, and the drives and desires that flow through them. The book puts the emphasis on reproductions of Nate Lowman’s works, highlighting how they play themselves with transfer, printing, and other reproductions techniques—the book’s papers are carefully chosen, and there’s also a poster. Published on the occasion of the exhibition of Lowman at Aspen Art Museum in 2017, Before and After features an essay by Jim Lewis and a conversation between Lowman and curator Heidi Zuckerman.
