EULER, Jana
Exhibitionism

This book is dedicated to my practice of exhibition making. I often think of an exhibition as a body, made up of all the parts that go into the different aspects of exhibiting. Exhibitionism does not give an exhaustive account of my work, but rather is a subjective expression of my own introspection.
—Jana Euler

Conceived by the artist, the book documents all her solo shows and a selection of group shows from 2009 to 2024 – from Pro Choice, Vienna, to WIELS, Bxl – plus exhibitions she did while a student – through reproductions of works, exhibition views, but also facsimiles of installation drawings, press releases, invitiation cards (not to mention experiments with face/letter drawing). Quite exciting to see the development of Euler’s work – and to read her brief, sharp texts, as well as the essays that accompanied the shows, written by the likes of Nic Ceccaldi, Jay Sanders, Manfred Hermes.
