Stéphane Barbier-Bouvet and Camilla Wills’ collaboration on Block the Light and Preserve Yourself suggests a new approach to bedtime stories. The editions could be described as transformative tools; turning light into text and image, turning daily appliances into mercurial presences. Conceived in close collaboration with the artists, these editions are devised to support the activities of Section 7 Books, and its publishing programme with After 8 Books.
Block the Light and Preserve Yourself, une collaboration entre Stéphane Barbier-Bouvet et Camilla Wills, suggère pour sa part une autre approche du livre de chevet. Les éditions sont des formes d’outils de transformation: le langage devient temps, la lumière texte et image, des objets du quotidien des présences versatiles. La vente de ces éditions, élaborées en collaboration étroite avec les artistes, permet de soutenir les activités de la librairie Section 7 Books et des éditions After 8 Books.
